Due to the economy, Brown County Speedway could not stay open,I am considering on reopening the track, but financially at this time it would be difficult for me to do on my own. I know all you racing fans miss the Brown County Speedway being open LOL and all the disagreeable things we went thru, But all in all, the track being open was fun. If I could get some people to come forth and offer some sponsorship I believe we can get it up and running again. Just keep in mind all the good times we had at the track. Please spread the word that we are in need of some good sponsors. The Brown County Speedway helped the community of Russellville and the Russellville life squad . We need to try to find some sponsors to help get the track going for the community of Russellville.
Thank you - Promoter Richard Crawford

I agree. Run on sundays. there are too many tracks in that area now. And run on Sunday afternoons instead of evenings.
